EXCEPTIONS TO NEW
PREREQUISITES
Students enrolled at UALR prior to the Fall 2009 semester AND students who transfer to UALR using an undergraduate catalog prior to the 2009-2010 catalog may be “grandfathered” into these courses using the old prerequisites until the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester. These “old” prerequisites are listed in the 2008-2009 Undergraduate Catalog.
If you are interested in using the old prerequisites for entrance into one of these courses, contact the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at 501-569-8100 for an advising appointment. The online registration system, BOSS, no longer recognizes the old prerequisites; and consequently, you will need to receive individual clearance into a course.
Beginning
with the Fall 2010 semester, ALL STUDENTS regardless
of academic standing will be required to use the new prerequisites.
